There's no point in talking a lot about the enormous harm corruption does to society. We all know how huge amounts of money, collected as taxes from honest citizens, are shamelessly embezzled or misused. These funds could have been used to improve the lives of millions of ordinary people but instead are illegally enriching a select few.
Unfortunately, governments are struggling to combat this dangerous phenomenon. The slow bureaucratic machinery can't keep up with the challenges of our time. Moreover, in many countries, those in power have become so corrupt themselves that they lack interest in fighting corruption, as they see it as a means to consolidate their own authority.
Who can stand up to the corrupt? Traditional media has lost its authority, often serving the wealthy and influential rather than being a true center of power. Disjointed groups of so-called "independent investigators" cannot effectively tackle systemic corruption. Many of these investigators are just tools used by various corrupt groups to undermine their rivals. They are not genuinely interested in eradicating corruption but rather weakening their competitors. Additionally, some of these "investigators" are just extortionists, building their business on concealing rather than exposing illegal activities they come across.
Honest investigators face enormous challenges in their work. It's not just the resistance from corrupt officials. Life itself keeps getting more complicated. More economic entities from different countries are involved in the global economy. New technologies keep emerging. This makes corrupt schemes more sophisticated. Exposing corrupt individuals requires more and more specialized knowledge and resources.
Clearly, humanity needs fundamentally new tools to combat this menace. It's crucial that these tools are under the direct control of society, without the interference of various intermediaries. The time has come for ordinary people to take the fight against corruption into their own hands, supported by advanced technologies.
Those in power aim to use advanced technologies to increase control over ordinary people. However, we shouldn't forget that technologies are a double-edged sword and can serve anyone's purposes. So, why not turn technology into a powerful tool for control those who govern us?
Let's look at our two projects - "Your Personal Intelligence Service" and "Justice for All," part of the larger initiative "Ultimate Defender." Imagine we combine these services. The first one continuously and automatically gathers and structures information from millions of sources worldwide, while the second one analyzes this information to uncover corrupt schemes and their participants. The result will be an ideal anti-corruption fighter - relentless, impartial, and incorruptible. We propose to call this service "The All-Seeing Eye."
The service's tasks go beyond information collection and analysis. Here are some other essential functions:
Perhaps, some skeptics might wonder: why should people trust your service at all? After all, you rightly pointed out the abuses that occur among so-called "independent investigators." So, where are the guarantees that your "super investigator" won't become a "super manipulator" or a "super extortionist"?
Yes, we understand and share these concerns. The issue of a trust deficit is one of the main challenges in today's society. It is this problem, rather than technical or financial aspects, that poses the primary obstacle to the spread of services like ours.
We propose a solution through the implementation of the concept of "Open Services." The core idea is that all online services (and technologies in a broader sense) that hold significant social value should be placed under the full and direct control of their users. Throughout human history, direct democracy has proven to be the best way to protect against abuses in any field. Ultimately, the people are always right, and it is the people who should determine the direction of technological development and how these technologies are used.
Unfortunately, the current trend in technology is the opposite, with control concentrated in the hands of investors, corporate management, and government officials, rather than the users themselves. In the past, when technology didn't play such a prominent role in our lives, we may have accepted this situation. However, with the growing discussions about machines potentially replacing humans in various aspects of life, even potentially enslaving them, it is time to change the rules of the game.
One of the main objectives of this project is to demonstrate in practice that the concept of Open Services is effective, setting new trends in technological development.
We reach out to everyone who understands the critical importance of fighting corruption and is ready to actively participate in this process, not just with words but with actions.
The realization of such complex projects relies on widespread support. Therefore, our first step is to raise awareness among as many people as possible about our ideas. Share information about the project with your friends and acquaintances. Publish it on your platforms or in communities you belong to. Help us catch the attention of influential figures. Translate the information into other languages.
If you possess skills that can contribute to the project's implementation, join our team. Share your knowledge and experience with us.
And, of course, provide financial support for the project. It currently exists as an idea, and there is an immense amount of work ahead. Remember, great things begin with small steps. Every dollar we collect brings us closer to turning this idea into reality. Let's show everyone that together we are a force capable of accumulating significant resources to solve serious problems, and let's gather an amount sufficient to give a confident start to the project.
Take action now and be a part of the project's foundation, making our lives more free and just together!
